Water Soluble Vitamins
The water-soluble vitamins (or WSVs) encompass the B-complex (e.g., thiamin or B1, riboflavin or B2, niacin or B3, biotin or B7) and vitamin C (ascorbic acid). These are essential nutrients to human health and development, serving as important cofactors to biochemical reactions of metabolic pathways. CIL offers a variety of stable isotope-labeled and unlabeled WSVs and their derivatives (e.g., nicotinic acid and nicotinamide for vitamin B3). The standards are available as neat compounds and/or in solution at specified concentrations (e.g., 1 µg/mL in methanol) for research use applications. For additional information on these WSVs and other reagent standards, please refer to our Stable Isotope Standards for Mass Spectrometry catalog.
