Labeled Bile Acids
Bile acids (BAs) are investigated in applications ranging from synthesis/metabolism explorations to human health and disease evaluations. To aid quantitative developments and applications in this space, CIL offers an array of stable isotope-labeled BAs in their neat and solution form. The BAs cover primary (e.g., cholic acid or CA, ß-muricholic acid or ß-MCA) and secondary (e.g., deoxycholic acid or DCA) variants as well as those amidated independently with glycine (e.g., glycocholic acid or GCA) or taurine (e.g., taurodeoxycholic acid or TDCA). The labeled BAs are available as individual standards and in dried down mix formulations (unconjugated BAs in MSK-BA1, conjugated BAs in MSK-BA2). For additional information on these standards and mixes, please see our Stable Isotope Standards for Mass Spectrometry catalog and Metabolomics Bile Acid Mixtures product flyer.
