Fat Soluble Vitamins
Fat soluble vitamins (or FSVs) are soluble in lipids and oils. This subgroup of vitamins encompasses vitamins A, D, E, and K. These are required in the human body for a variety of biological functions (e.g., immunity, coagulation), with their deficiencies manifested by clinical symptoms (e.g., haemorrhage with vitamin K deficits) and ultimately correlated to cancer or other disorders. CIL offers a variety of stable isotope-labeled and unlabeled FSV standards. These are available as neat compounds and/or in solution at specified concentrations (e.g., 50 µg/mL in ethanol) for research use applications. For additional information on these FSVs and other reagent standards, please refer to our Stable Isotope Standards for Mass Spectrometry catalog.
